When I went to Marquee the first time, I was convinced that this was going to be my go-to club. But, second time around, I think I have to think otherwise cause it was Stinky! Stinky! Stinky! Second time around, all five girls went in with no cover. How? Let me just tell you, Marquee promoters are everywhere! Including, right in front of the club at prime time. The promoter saw that we were a group of girls and approached us, we did have someone we knew did tell us to say we're on "rafael's" guest list. Getting in was easy peasy but, once inside it was an absolute sauna. NO AC in mid-june!!!!! what?!! a club packed with sweaty old men and skankilicious girls equal Stinkinesss!! oooff it smelled like B.O., vodka and sweat, not to mention it was hot as hell! Wherever you went in the club, downstairs, upstairs, the corner the dancefloor, there was no way out of that sauna. Marquee is huge for a NY club, it has two floors, the first floor plays house/trance/etc. music while the upstairs has hip hop both having bars that span across the floor. I would have to say whoever the dj for the 2nd floor's hip hop jams are amazing!! They play the most up and coming club mixes!!! Even though it was steaming hot, I was happy to not hear "Empire State of Mind" at Marquee, (that song is soooo overplayed). The mixes and mainstream hip hop jams are great and I love it!!! The ambiance is the aiight... the drinks are pretty average priced 10-15 per shot, depending on what you get. There is a VIP room on the first floor in between the 2 staircases, if you go, try to get in there because getting drinks there will be much easier. I'm still debating if I should give Marqueee another try. The first was amazing the the second time around was wayyy too hottt!!!

sometimes you just wanna party like a guidette, and that's where manor west comes into play. but, make sure there's an event going on, otherwise you'll be the only one fist pumping on the dancefloor. that was the case this past friday 1/22. went there last minute with a few friends because of a connection and entered to find an almost empty club. some connection, ha! i was sure that the place would fill up, but by the end of the night not anymore than 50 people were there. i could see how that could make for a bad night for a group of guys or girls looking to score (not me!). but aside from that, music was fun and i actually had a okay time (thank you don julio). oh yeah, and big improvement to the disaster that was club boss. god i hated that place. the decor now is typical wannabe Vegas style, but definitely one of the better looking clubs in sf right now. the elevated VIP booths look like a must for those who want to impress. and have a nice place to sit. but i would only go back if A) i knew there was a party going on, B) knew there was a GOOD party going on, and C) had bottle service, cuz my ass needs ta sit down sometimes. i hear thursdays are good? i'll update my review if that's the case.

I don't know about you, But I had fun. Music was REALLY good on a saturday night. and you try to have an internal battle trying to get the bartenders attention. And this is definitely the hide out for women from all the Suite 181 boys. It felt like a mini version of Las Vegas, but not too pretentious. It was SO mini-Vegas that I saw a couple totally making out against the wall. No offense. Maybe we got there a little late, because the bathroom already started to smell FUNKY. And the dude at the door with the handlebar mustache. . . nice mustache. But apparently everynight is guest list only night. HAH. he still let us in, maybe because it was 3 girls and 1 dude. but all in all, it's only as fun as who you roll with.
