I have never eaten here, so I won't comment on the food of this venue, but I will say the Hong Kong delves into a little bit of everything. What I can guarantee is that every time I've been there I've had a wonderful time. They host a comedy show almost every night from 8-10 pm and for students its $6 on the weekdays and $10 weekends. Yes, amazing. It's fairly funny and I mean if you're looking for something fun to do in Harvard Square besides dinner and drinks, I would recommended it! After 10 PM, the music is generally mainstream, hip-hop, pop, top40s etc. If you don't like the scene, don't complain, go somewhere else! The nice thing about The Hong Kong is the 2 floors of partying. The 2nd floor is more of a sit-down/talk to your friends scene. If you get bored of talking, the 3rd floor is a staircase away and tends to cater to the avid dancers of the night. The Scorpion Bowls are fabulous, don't leave without trying one! You might lucky enough to not remember your night at all! Oh it can't hurt that I live 3 blocks away, location? Check!

El Rio is my new favorite bar. Cheap drinks, good music, a painfully difficult shuffleboard table, pool, and the second-best outdoor patio in the city (#1 still Zeitgeist). The back room usually has music, but the DJ in the main bar was wonderful on Friday night, playing a great mix of stuff. This place makes a real effort to be part of their community, holding tons of benefits. In fact I nearly had one there myself the the coordinator there was so accommodating and eager to participate. I give props for that. The crowd was refreshingly varied and everyone I talked to was cool. I want to come back and experience the grill! I

The best bar in San Francisco named after fish eggs. Just kidding. Great venue. Love the three floor live action, each with its own vibe and theme. The cellar floor is cool, but smells a bit musty. Cute bartendresses.
