by Sherry W. on Worth it to come here if you're VIP. The venue is pretty, with a pole in the middle of the dance floor and a nice spacious VIP section upstairs. The first night I came here, we saw Kim from Real Housewives so that was pretty cool. Don't come here expecting to meet anyone attractive from the opposite sex. But I usually know I've had a good time the morning after when I find dollar bills unexpectedly in my dress and bruises on my legs from dancing.
by Allen C. on Cellulite EVERYWHERE!!! And NO dancing! Okay, this was a fluke, but this was my last experience at Blvd3 because of some crappy "Playboy" wrestling event they held. Believe me, those girls were definitely Hustler material. If there's one thing to watch for here, it's their crappy events that you don't hear about until you get there and realize there's no dancing or music until 1 am. Other than that, I love the look of the place. It's nothing in the daytime, but at night, it absolutely shines. Outside fireplace, nice lighting, plush couches, an occasional popcorn machine, you know. I believe it's the site of the old Hollywood Athletic Club where the old Errol Flynn's and John Barrymore's of the day used to get into trouble. The other half of the place is occupied by Social next door. The music is a little frantic and over mixed by the dj, but it never stops me from dancing my ass off here. It's a nice mixed crowd too, punctured by the occasional circus act or b-boy that comes out to perform on the dance floor. And most importantly, the bouncer has always been pretty cool, which is an A+ in my book. Getting bottle service here is kinda pricey (I believe like $700 up to $1000+, depending on location, for two bottles of alcy and entrance of a certain number of guests), which I did for my 24th beyonce-day. It's always nice to have an HQ for people to rally around. Despite my drunken debauchery, twas very fun. During the holiday season, they also pull out the snow, which is always fun and festive. Drinks are pricey, but no more than other clubs. As of lately, I've seen an older crowd here, but that could be a fluke. Maybe Celine Dion was in the house.
