The design and atmosphere is usually good but the management is awful. The door policy is out and out racist. I mean when I worked there as a promoter I overheard the management and door girl discussing how to disguise racial profiling at the door. If you reads all the reviews about this venue on rateclubs, you will see that majority of the people that complained are ethnic minorities. The owner and management are armenian and majority of the crowd is almost always Aremnian, Persian & Russian which means as long as you are white or look white then you are very likely to get in fast and free otherwise they will throw your ass in line and charge you $20-$40 cover. Unless a promoter comes out to get you or you purchase bottle service, you are pretty much screwed. If you ever walk past Playhouse and there is a huge line... that means ITS EMPTY. Avoid at all cost. They will lie to you on the phone about bottle service then force you to pay more at the door. It was supposed to have been voted the 4th best club in the country but the asshole writer that made that claim was definitely paid off, probably with low cost liquor brands and a room at the rooselvelt hotel. As a promoter that has worked in several cities across the world, I have to say this venue is the worst. New clubs opens in Hollywood all the time. To find the best option for you, just message me on rateclubs or check out my website. eVita Parties provides Hollywood Guest List to Hollywood Clubs & Los Angeles Events.

I have been wanting to write a review about Webster Hall for years. I have been attending Webster Hall for over 8 years which I guess means it has something that keeps pulling me back. Maybe its the music, maybe its the mixed crowds, maybe its the Friday night Burlesque Show, maybe its cool bartenders, maybe its the artist/celebs that attend here...idk but never doubt a hit and Webster Hall is a definite hit. You are talking 3 floors and a balcony. You are talking probably one of the lowest prices for drinks in any club in Manhattan. You are talking the most diverse and interesting people who come here. You are talking a great night whether you come here solo or with friends. With diners and pizza shops around after you down a few drinks, reasonable parking, public transportation nearby,  not too far away hotels for those (uh-hum) one night stands...or just to show around to people who want to have a nice first time NYC club experience Webster Hall is that place.  No wonder its a NYC landmark, (shameless plug) and no I do not work for them but I will always consider Webster Hall damn near the end all be all of clubs in NYC. The only and I mean ONLY bad thing I would have to say about WH is that it has lost its luster just a little in the past 2 or 3 years. Once serving pizza so u can have something in ur stomach before taking in douses of drinks. I don't know why they don't have that anymore. And it seems that they are a lil less selective to who they let in now with it being a little more ghetto. But overall still the place to go if you are in a bind for a cool club night.

ferry corsten looked yummy. but what can i say? im a sucker for talented geeky scandanavian boys. so did the mighty mos, but then again i could rent brown sugar and drool in the privacy of my own home, so that's pretty hard to beat. also went to the bfd pre-party with the lovemakers and lcd soundsystem. HOT, except i hate that some nights are 18+. and when i saw strange fruit project and blackalicious, i thought i died and went to heaven. hip-hop heaven, that is. i like how spacious this joint is, and it seemed like almost every angle in the club afforded a decent line of sight. it's a cool place to go if you wanna both chill or party hard. drinks are overpriced and the parking makes you wanna strap on the club extra super duper tight before you leave your car, but it's like that with every other club in the city. always a solid lineup and an incredible place to feel the music.
