Previously Pearl, then Apple Lounge then Haute..... It has 'Disaster' writte all over i when the new owners decided to have a door man as the general manager. Haute was never HOT. It went down hill faster than a bobsleigh. Easily one of the most awkward venue in Hollywood. The layout is unbelievably awful. I mean why cant the owner just buy the entire building and resize the club? Well its closing for refurbishment and the new owner is the same owner of Empire. Therefore, you can expect the new venue to be crap and end up just like Empire. New clubs opens in Hollywood all the time. To find the best option for you, just message me on rateclubs or check out my website. eVita Parties provides Hollywood Guest List to Hollywood Clubs & Los Angeles Events.

Clubbing in San Francisco is not easy for those of us who have seen it all and just want to dance. Let's say, you are around 30, and you still love to listen to good DJs, have a good time and dance your butt off on an occasion. All great, but... At some clubs, you have to stand in artificially long lines just to get in. At others, you have to deal with boneheaded bouncers. When you finally get in, at most large clubs you are surrounded by either doped-out asian youngsters or bridge-and-tunnel crowd, who are spilling their Long Island ice teas on you as they squeeze up front to the DJ, just to whistle to the tunes, and you can hardly get a drink of your own, as the bars are overcrowded, not to mention overpriced. Most likely, it is all of the above. Enter Mighty. What a breath of fresh air in the San Francisco club scene. This place can be described in just 2 words: Intelligent Clubbing. People really come here for the music, and this place delivers. Tucked away in a cozy corner of the Mission district, this place is for those "in the know" and in search of good atmosphere, fantastic acoustics, beautiful interior, and polite staff. Not to mention the fact that they get world class DJs. At this place alone, I have seen Carl Cox, Menno de Jong, Markus Schulz, Lee Burridge, just to mention the few. True, the overall hip-hoppization of the clubbing scene has not avoided this place, and it's all fair as long as there is demand for it. But on the nights of techno and house music, this place has really become my favourite. I recommend Mighty to anyone, even if you do not like big clubs. We, the intelligent clubbers, are fortunate to have this place in San Francisco.

If you need a place to go with a big group this is perfect. I've been here for two work functions and one personal. You can get drinks and food right at your lane. I'd order the much needed bar food to soak up all the beer/vodka/whatever you've been pouring down your throat. The always have loud music (sometime too loud I think), dark colorful lighting and TV's for the sports fans. I'd suggest taking clients out for an alternative to your typical dinner or rallying friends for something different and active.
