by isabel y. on i've hit up every "exclusive" club in hollywood and drai's is still one of my favorites. and if you're a girl and can't get in then i feel really sorry for you. because there's a line devoted to girls and girls only, and they seem to let everything in. there's also a line for guys, and that one doesn't move. so guys get your bottles and you're good. the venue is awesome, beautiful, and so fun. it's got that lovely huge pool in the outdoor area, tons of cabanas to lounge around on, and a gorgeous bar at the end of the pool. (beware that drinks are around 20 bucks and they kinda suck) there're huge tables indoors, poles for drunk girls to swing around on, and really great music and energy. oh yeah, it also has amazing views of hollywood. good nights to go are wed and sat, but go early to avoid crazy lines and douchebag attitudes from the bouncers. (unless you're gorgeous then just go at midnight and walk right in) i love this place and can't wait to go back!

I would gladly give back all electrifying first kisses and replace them with this freshly baked bread twirling around my mouth ANY day. Close your eyes, breathe through your nose, circles, tingly. I don't even think I would notice if they substituted their fresh veggies with my dirty sock between those divinely soft slices of perfection. And cookies. Their oatmeal raisin makes my grandmother look like a hack. Mmmmmmmmm.
by James T. on This place is my favorite club to check out live electronic music. I've seen Matthew Dear, Telefon Tel Aviv, and Daedelus here and every show was incredible. It's got pretty neat lighting but more importantly, 4 massive speakers that surround the dance floor. The crowd is always fun, no drama. Sometimes the place has two bars open so you don't have to wait forever for drinks.
by Deonna Satunas on Top of the list in terms of venues. Although the view can be bad at times, if you manage to get up close, there really isn't a better place to see a show. The drinks are always stiff and the food is good as well. So far all of these were great shows: Okkervil River, Sons and Daughters, J Mascis, The Dilletantes...
