Delightful! Great modern environment restaurant. The service was very attentive. Shared the appetizer: 10 hour pork kakuni. It was seriously the best thing i've ever tasted. It's similar to what my Dad (he's Japanese), but a 100x better. Try it! You will not be disappointed. Entrees: I got the wild striped bass. A little salty but delicious. Great food, 5 stars! Good service! I even got to get a picture with Morimoto because he was actually in the waiting area when I was leaving :) Only negative: Cost. But you'll be licking your plates.

while marquee definitely used to be a serious hot spot - it's definitely lost its once glamorous rep. I've been a couple of times in the last couple of months and I've been pretty disappointed. the back room on the first floor has a bit of appeal because it's cozier and more intimate than the rest of the club, but I don't really want to be that intimate with the crowd of wannabe socialite and junior partiers that marquee attracts nowadays. usually, i can create a good time there - if there's a couple of us, we'll get wasted and go nuts - one majorly redeeming aspect: the music is amazing.

I would have to say that I was extremely impressed with this place. I had never had Ethiopian food before and had only heard not so hot things about it. So I definitely went in this place with low expectations. The bf and I started with 2 beers (great selection of tap beers btw) for $3 each. Not a bad deal in SF I may add. As we're both meat eaters, we decided to say no to the all you can eat veggie dishes and we got the meat dish and the veggie sampler. The portions were pretty large and the food was surprisingly good!! Seriously could not believe it. We were both pretty full after our meal and for the 2 beers and are 2 dishes it came to under $30 bucks. Not bad in SF. Not bad at all... So why only 3? Service was pretty slow and I'd still probably take a burrito over Ethiopian food. But hey, we'll be back...
