by Sandra P. on The Citadel is great. It's a dungeon. If you're looking for a sex club, try Power Exchange. Very different place. If you want a clean, friendly, safe place to do BDSM this is where to go. If you're some stand and model type looking for a beauty pageant, this is not it. This place is totally accepting of every no matter what they look like or are into. Lots of really nice dungeon equipment, most of it downstairs. There are lots of special parties. Mystique for femdoms, Transmission for genderqueer and transgendered, Bent for the under 35 crowd. And then there are classes and peer workshops. Phil and August are to be commended for making a space that is welcoming to everyone.
by Sami W. on Even on a Monday night, the place was packed. The band was great and the camel toed girls dancing on the bar were awesome! The drinks on the other hand were a little pricey around $11 a piece. I didn't like mine that much (mango something). We didn't try the food. I would definitely hit it up again if I ever am back in the neighborhood!
by Alexis Sloat on Went here for an AIMA private event and had a good time. Granted it was my first trip to Atlanta, but the Sutra Lounge has a HUGE space with a cool bar (probably near 40-50' long). It is located in midtown Atlanta, and there doesn't seem to be much else in the area of the 'Lounge' genre. Anyway, the lighting wasn't too dim, as many lounges are and the atmosphere and staff seemed to be pretty upbeat and fun. I am not much of a lounge guy, but I enjoyed it. Also, I noticed the rateclubs sticker on the front door which made me feel at home.
