by Samantha P. on Two words, Asians Only. I had a pretty good time here with a couple of Asian friends (non-Korean) even though it was really packed. Loud music, spacious dance floor & good looking people (some), this place is quite the bomb if you're Korean.
by Tracie Daft on Antiquated but hardly quaint, great sunset views in the summertime, tasty burgers, chili, and the like (although I peeked in the kitchen to see who was serving up such heart-warming fare, and they're chinese!!! i swear to god!!)...its my "cheers" bar only without the annoying characters. unless i'm actually one of the annoying characters. doh! :(
by Victoria D. on Don't come here if you're hungry unless you're willing to spend a pretty penny. My friends and I were attacked by hunger pangs after our meal, even though we'd spent $80. The fact that our waiter was dreadfully slow didn't help matters much. Fortunately, a quick trip to a taqueria a few blocks away appeased our unsatisfied tummies. A comparison of Medjool's serving sizes and prices versus the taqueria's was utterly striking: Medjool: 3 meatballs for $15 Taqueria: 1 pound of loaded nachos for $4 We made it back from the taqueria before 11:00pm to avoid the cover charge. It would not have been worth our while to pay $10 so we could watch 45+ year old men in Christmas sweaters attempting to mack on girls half their age. One cool thing about the music was the addition of a live conga player. He jammed with many of the songs. Nice touch.
