Oh, and because my friends and I got in for free after the GL closed because we were acquainted with a promoter. The dance floor was itty bitty. I kept getting drunk girls running into me (I guess that's a given though).Every corner you turn you'd find a douche lord and sleezebag trying to touch you. The crowd was wack and the music was worse.. I don't know if it's just the DJ or what.. but it was just bad....

by Becki Dauterman on I'll be one more person that goes ahead and writes about how the club doesn't let people in because they want people from the guest list to pay full price. Our group of 9 or so were waiting in line for about 30-40 minutes, when the guest list guy cut the list off right in front of us. Which, after deciding to go in, pissed me off because it wasn't the least bit crowded inside. So, 1)They like to make the club look popular...and 2)Want more people to pay full price. I thought it was ridiculous. We went in anyway (feeding into #2) because it was my good friend's bday and the music upstairs was good, while downstairs stayed chill. But, I'll never go back again because it wasn't enough fun to justify the ridiculous situation pre-inside-the-club. At least with places like "slide" it's crowded inside if they're making you wait outside (in the chilly, wet weather). Ugh.
