This is my favorite place to go in LA. I love the 1920's theme it has going on. The decor is so amazing, it really is an experience. Pricey, but worth it. You have to get an absinthe fountain if you go.

Seriously, what is this $20 cover charge? I'm a spoiled brat. Since I've been 21 and in LA, I don't think I've ever had to pay a cover charge. Okay, maybe once or twice, but even then I can't recall those instances. My girls and I were ushered to the front of the line...yeah ushered right up to the window to hand over a 20. Fine, I can put my ego in check and pay a cover, but I better have the time of my life. This "hot" LA club was anything but. Who cares about go-go dancers (though I'll admit these were some Cirque Du Soleil performers, not bimbos in boyshorts). The people were ridiculous, I'm talking Ed Hardy douchery from corner to corner. Someone decided to "make it rain" with napkins, and a guy I was standing next to had a "loogie" spit on him from someone standing on the top level. FAIL. I appreciate that LA is trying to step their game up and close at 4am, but I was out of there an hour in. The best club that LA has ever seen was Goa in my opinion.

Dreamz is huge and don't be discouraged by the odd location in the shopping center. It's huge and everything seems so far apart. It's great that the bar is not invading the dancefloors space, but the other bar is totally off into a corner. The dancefloor reminds me of a highschool movie's homecoming dancefloor. Music is different depending on which day you go. Not many people dance, VIP sections don't look exclusive whatsoever.
