Butch's Bar may be the best kept secret in the Casper area. We offer a DJ spinning the hottest dance music five nights a week, several big screen TV's, and a comfortable atmosphere. Biker friendly. We are a family owned corner bar -so no corporate BS here. Open seven days a week 10AM to close.

by Janie M. on This place is amazing -- even spectacular if you're a little kid. Came here on a Thursday, so it was not as busy as a weekend, but was still pretty busy. My mother-in-law, who has been here quite a few times, told us that it was no where near as crowded as what she has seen (elbow-to-elbow, bumping into people). Make your reservations ahead of time -- online! My 22 month old son had a better appreciation for the aquarium this time around, than when we went to the Aquarium of the Bay in S.F. 3 months back. Then again, it could just be him maturing for his age. Jelly Fish were fun to look at, as were the Tiger Sharks and the Beluga Whales. It was really amazing to see the Belugas swim so close to the glass. This place definitely has a wide variety of marine life under one roof. The cafeteria is overpriced, so don't come here hungry. Picnic outside or eat before you come in if you don't want to spend the extra money on a $7+ sandwich. Admission is on the steep side as it is. I got a kick out of the Coca-Cola product placement at the cafeteria, but then again, they co-funded the place, so what do you expect? You can't exit the aquarium without going through the gift shop. Tourist trap indeed. Overall, this place is a great place to see if you are in the Metro Atlanta area visiting. I can understand why the ratings on this place would dwindle, based on the time of day and/or week a person decides to show up. Just don't get sucked into spending more than you have to & come on a not-so-busy weekday for a 5-star experience.
