I've been going to Little Temple since 2006 and although the DJ's and bartendresses have changed, the music has stayed the same - dope. Oh yeah, and the bouncers. This is a great place to hang out, have drinks, dance with your FRIENDS and chill to great hip hop. The vibe is straight kick back..... Parking sometimes sucks, but usually you can find something on Virgil or in the neighborhood. Santa Monica has some spots too if you get there early enough. Valet is always an option, but if you come too late, they'll run out of spots. 10:30 or 11:00 is a good time to get there when everything starts to pop. btw: a friend of mine got hit with a paintball while smoking outside underneath the billboard. it was completely random.... good thing nobody got hurt. poor girl.

Finally, a nightclub that looks and feels like a real Nightclub! Dreamz is off of Clairmont in this dainty shopping center, but don't be fooled because when you walk in, it is awesome. I believe this place used to be a movie theatre by the looks of the inside of the club. The line outside was long and discouraging, and we almost left, but a friend of mine pulled some strings and we were in very quickly. When you first walk in the front lobby, there is a bar and then you walk into the main part of the club, which is HUGE (as Erin T. says) and there is a stage in the back (or front depending on your perception) with a huge projector and a DJ spinning on the stage. Everyone was dancing all around us! The place was hopping! I found the club very diverse and well put together. The vibe of the club was awesome. The VIP areas were nice and well lit, but not overly lit for a nightclub. The bartenders seemed a little tense due to the volume of people at the bar, but service was still quick. The music was awesome. Even if you didn't want to dance or felt like dancing, your hips were involuntarily moving to the beat. The atmosphere was real cool and chill. I was happy to finally go to a real nightclub. I definitely will be back for another great night....at a real Nightclub!

dropped in a few weekends ago on our way to red fez. it's good for what it is - a loud, dark, $7 cocktails 5th street bar rather similar to other loud, dark, $7 cocktails 5th street bars. i did like the three booths against the back wall, the one closest to the "dance floor" gives a really great view of everyone mingling while keeping you pulled back from all the people. we had a really nice waitress who kept coming to check on us. i was a little creeped out by the two tv screens mounted on the ends of the rooms that have security camera looking views of the areas at the ends of the bar including the oddly placed stripper pole. it's that horrible night vision that in horror movies always shows someone being pulled into a windowless van.
