Well designed lounge area with low lighting and comfortable seats and couches that definitely caters to the young(ish) business crowd of San Francisco. It features an extensive champagne and wine list as well as a full bar. We had a section reserved so we always had a server making sure we were all set and over all it was an enjoyable night. The Bubble Lounge is kind of the mullet of the SF bar scene, business up front, party down below. Downstairs theres this odd little dance cave that seemed totally out of place compared to the relatively sophisticated upper level. But I kind of liked that. I gave it three starts because it's not really my scene. It probably deserves four just because it's the only place I've been in the city where the women seem to be more on the prowl than the men. Happy cougar hunting ;)

I went here because my friend suggested the place. He had tried the steak before and liked it but this time he ordered the lasagna and it was delicious. I ordered the lemon chicken over mashed potatoes which was okay, I would rather have ordered the lasagna. Then we ordered the dessert which was the brownie skillet with vanilla ice cream, it was yummy! My friend loved the fact that the game was playing on a huge screen so that helped! The waiter was attentive and the pricing was reasonable.

I really like the inside of this place. It is an old opera house, formerly club eleven50 (Being that is it located at 1150 Peachtree Street). The only negatives I have about the environment are of course the smoking and also the lack of enough bathrooms. For guys it is not a huge issue, I have never waited more than a few minutes. The drinks are the typical Atlanta club price. Being such, poor students like myself will generally pregame before we go out anyway and have a few at the place. They take credit cards and do tabs like everywhere else of course. I ventured upstairs into the VIP area the first time I went and it was pretty fun to watch from the balcony. There is a full bar up there as well. Downstairs you can hang out in the back or dance in the front with a DJ up on a platform on the stage and some people (usually girls) dancing on the stage. I do not really care what music is played at a place. I have the strange ability to block out anything I want generally so I cannot tell you any specific song they played as they all sound about the same to me. They have mist machines and all that fun stuff too. If you sign up on their website you can get in free before 11 Friday and Saturday, I am not sure about any other nights.
