by Teena V. on I Love this place.... I've been here a couple of times... both times on a saturday ...i had dinner once here and i had the MOle. it was delicious!!...... Ive also been here for the bar , I loved their Calamari and chips and dip MMMMmm. . . The waiter is always really nice and does a good job at making sure you are doing good... I had the Pina Colada and oh MAN!!!! that was good.!! The margaritas are also yummy and they poor a good amount of liquor in them ,they were a bit strong... also if u might want to check out the Bar /patio outside towards the back its loud music and a pretty chill spot. . . . The man at the door who checks ur ID was really nice , We even asked about the bars and what would be best to check out first and he gaves us some advice..THX =] This is DEFf. one of my fav SPOTs.!! P.S THE DECOR I LOVE!!!!.. really uNIQUE.!.

When I finally moved here i was thoroughly addicted to the flavors and the spice of this wonderful food. Of all of the Ehiopian restaurants in the city, Waziema is my favorite as far as food goes. The veggies are all great and the lamb and chicken are excellent as well. This said, this is not the place to go to experience amazing service. For a long time I ate here at least once a week, either dining in or carrying out. Tips: Carryout: It's always about 20 mins longer than what they tell you so either come late or prepare to wait and sip a beer at the bar. Dining in: Prepare to wait.......service is slow but food comes out hot and delicious. The space is not the brightest and cleanest but they have a full bar and good people watching. As long as you are not starving and you come with the right attitude the wait doesn't seem that unbearable. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU ARE EXTREMELY HUNGRY and can't wait at least 20-30 mins for your food. Some negatives: -Portion sizes have decreased over the years -Spice factor is low compared to others like Axum. If you like your ehtiopian really spice you might be dissapointed. -They are closed on Mondays! All that said I will still give 5 stars to this restaurant because the food is so great!!!
