One of the hottest scenes in the City at the moment and probably one of the classiest. The type of place Don Draper would go for a drink. The 18th floor of The Standard is the place to be. It oozes opulence with a bar anchoring the center of the room and floor to ceiling windows offering stunning views in every direction. The tan banquettes are very modern and are spread out which is nice because it gives each group their own space. There are a few smoke areas but I recommend buying your cigarettes beforehand because they overcharge for a pack. The drinks are very pricey but also very potent. I really enjoyed my Pisco Punch. The room is definitely booming, I strongly urge you to go if you can get in.

This might be my favorite Salt Lick because of location and I think it's the only one with the stuffed baked potato on the menu which is a work of art! Imagine a huge, huge baked potato loaded with cheese, butter, chopped brisket and topped with the Salt Lick sauce. It is also one of the cheapest items on the menu. Add a beverage and you might have the perfect meal. Daytime I will table mine to the Ray Benson bar area and take in some live music. Simply awesome!

Amazing sound system... on par with a Funktion-One or Phazon rig. It seems that the true potential, richness and depth of sound from the system is drawn out when the British and NY-based DJs are behind the controls. The drinks and vibe are great too. Lastly, Mezzanine has a very classy New York loft-style club feel to it.
