Finally a club in Atlanta that actually spent money on a quality sound system. A little more pretentious than the original Havana Club...well, a lot more pretentious. My wife and I went to the Grand Opening on Friday, January 29, 2010. First impressions were great. But I have a few issues: Every time we sat down, the same waitress came by to tell us there was a $200 - $250 minimum to sit at a table. There were no signs or ropes or any other indication that the tables required a minimum. And maybe it was my imagination but it appeared that we were the only ones told that (we're Black). Looking at the other reviews, I don't see any other reference to the same. Anyway, three big dance floors, diverse crowd, great music: Latin, Hip hop and top 40 dance. Drinks were really good for $8.50 Crown Royal. Hope they stay at that price!. Didn't get to try the cigar lounge ($250 minimum) or so we were told. What is up with that crap at all Atlanta clubs! If I spend that much at a table I better be served a bone in ribeye, bottle of wine, dessert and a cigar after! I laugh at the fools who pay that much for a bottle just to show off. Oh and money is not the point. I own several franchises. I just think it's ridiculous to pay that much to sit down. Anyway, I will go back because I like to smoke cigars and dance. There I can do both. The jury is till out. There was no cover that night. So long as it's not a $20 cover I'll go back.

like Compound a lot because it offers a lot of options. In the back is a large dance floor with two bars and it is quite dark. In the middle is a much smaller dance room with a couple more bars and much lighter. Between the back and the middle dance floors there is an outdoor area with a bar and some standing and sitting space. In the front is an outdoor area with tables, chairs, a pond, and more bars of course. If you want to dance you can dance, if you want to sit around and hang out you can do that too. If you want to do both this is a good place to do it as the outside is isolated from the loud music better than many of the other clubs and much larger. The only downside is the smoking which I never like being around. There are multiple bathrooms but there can be lines. There is usually a guy in the men's bathroom who wants to help you wash your hands for a tip which always annoys me. I think I can manage to take care of myself. It did close down recently, I heard they were going to renovate it and reopen in a few months, but you never know. It was free before 11:00 or 11:30 Fridays and Saturdays if you were on the email guest list. The best part was it was about a mile from where I live.

Went here for the first time last night... it was pretty good It was a bit on the darker side... not the best ambience but the decor, especially the massive buddha statue in the center looked great. I did not eat here, just came for drinks and dancing around 11:30pm. The crowd seemed to be energized and the music was different than most clubs, kind of like an indian techno, but I really enjoyed it. I would definitely go back to at least check out the food and then stay for the music afterwards for a second experience... first time was only there for an hour or so, didn't really get a complete feel for the place
