by patty l. on I came here the day after NYE and it wasn't too packed. But lovedddddddddd the dancers on the stage above the bartenders! They were doing some hip hop dancing and some guys from Ringmasters (as seen on MTV's america's next best dance crew) were performing. That was the best! Does that always happen? The place was HUGE. Loved the unique setup. If I lived in LA, I would definitely go back. Not hard to get in. My friend found a promoter...although their website says they don't use them. I dont know. Whoever it was also works at Boulevard3. Google promoters/boulevard 3. Get on his list, although you may not need to, but just in case!
by Mathew S. on Went to Hiro for the first time this past Sunday. I probably would have had a better time had I had a few more drinks, but I had a good time. Very big dance floor with minimal standing space elsewhere. The DJ was very good, playing an eclectic mix of dance tracks. Some of the go-go boys needed a lesson or two. $12 vodka tonics, in a tiny plastic cup...never again. Get your fill before you head to Hiro. Ran into Carson from Queer Eye. He was actin a hot mess, makin out with some guy next to us. Not my fav gay bar, Hiro does a good job with their decor, music, and ample dance space.
by Emmitt Merling on Sure its 18+, but this place gets the best music from the UK (and the states) so I'm willing to overlook it. The Djs know exactly what to play pre-show. My only complaint is the no advance tickets policy. Waiting in line for 3 hours for a 45 minute show isn't exactly my idea of a perfect night. But I'll definitely be coming back most Thursday's...
by Animal G. on AHHHH!!! another successful wonder-full event this year. thx hakobo for rockin the 5 minutes of MJ - made my night!!! and when the stevie finally started playing... man oh man! it was PACKED! the bartender at the back bar, man i should really find out his name - he's so friendly and makes pretty darn good seabreezes.. i see him everytime i'm there!
