I hate it that you have to print your online ticket.  This is the only option for buying a ticket online.  Not everyone these days has a printer.  I had to go to Copy Central and waste a lot of time finding a place to print my ticket.  When I called the museum to (politely) give them feedback that this was probably a very inconvenient system for many people and could be driving customers away from nightlife, the receptionist who picked up the phone was very short with me and said that they get lots of calls about this and that she would tell the manager. I got the feeling that  given her level of irritation with me on the the phone she didn't value that I had taken time to give them feedback improve their business.  I really am very polite and have a soft and sweet voice on the phone! Very annoying and disrespectful experience.  Totally nonsensical method of running their ticketing/entry system. The night itself is pretty nice!  I liked it.

I have been to the Culver Hotel bar on quite a few occasions and it has always been a pleasurable experience. It's a nice atmosphere and the bartenders and staff generally very friendly.  On a recent Friday night visit I decided for the first time to order food.  I ordered the Shrimp Pesto pizza.  When the pizza arrived it was completely covered in lettuce.  Through the lettuce I could see what appeared to be a red sauce.  I told the waitress I ordered the Shrimp Pesto Pizza and she assured me it was correct.  Once I removed the lettuce it did appear to be a marinara sauce.  I took a bite and it tasted like marinara.  I called the waitress back and she went to tell the chef who informed me it was correct.  He said a different chef made it so it may look different.  What?  Marinara is red and pesto is green and they have very distinct flavors.  Why would it look and taste different? A friend sitting at my table had also ordered the Shrimp Pesto pizza earlier.  Her pizza was correct and she still had some of it left.  I showed the waitress the two pizzas' side by side to show her the obvious difference yet she maintained they looked the same.  I asked for another pizza but before long she returned and said the chef would be making the exact same thing.  I said if that's the case I'll keep what I have but she told me he already threw it away.  When finally the new pizza came it was correct and when I told the waitress this she said well he put on lots of pesto.  Like extra pesto is going to turn it from red to green.  It was obvious to everyone at my table that there was a marinara sauce on my first pizza but it seemed the chef did not want to admit making a mistake.  I wasn't trying to be difficult but I did not receive what I ordered and I was being made to feel like I was being unreasonable.  Having spent many years working in the restaurant business I know many times customers will take out their issues with the kitchen on the wait staff.  I told the waitress as I was leaving that I know that it wasn't your fault and you were just relaying what the chef told you.  Her response to me was, "It was the same pizza" A rude and unprofessional comment!  I will definitely never be eating here again and will think twice when looking for a place to have drinks.

Oh my god, the moment I walked into this place I got an unexplainable urge to start dating my cousin. I'm not exactly a country-western enthusiast so I fit in about as well as an atheist at a prayer revival! I don't get what people find so spectacular about this place. If I went on a Thursday night when they play non-country music, then my opinion might be a little different. Even when they don't play country music, they play really bad pop (i.e. "My Humps" by Black Eyed Peas) *shudders* I can't say much about drink prices because at the time I went, I was underage. I suppose the big black "X" marked on your hand is also a symbol that lets creepy old guys know that there is fresh prey afoot! I went here one night with a group of girlfriends from my college. They're big into this country shit, but I simply came so I could spend time with them. To be fair, I really did try to keep an open mind when I went here. I even met a cute guy in cowboy regalia. He wasn't really my type, but he was sure nice to look at. So, if you love two steppin' and singing about "putting boots in asses" then by all means check this place out. It just wasn't my bag, baby.
