by Erik Y. on This place is a terrible hotel for any kind of social event. The staff is truly rude and their threshold for noise is lower than any other place I've ever stayed. The fact that they bill themselves as a rock 'n roll hotel only adds to the hilarity. If you want a nice place to stay, go somewhere else - you can do a lot better for the money. If you want a place for an after-party, go somewhere else - this place is overcharging for a rep it fails to live up to.
by W. E. on The bouncers were rude. The ticket takers were rude. The bartenders somehow made it worse. I saw an amazing show by the Australian band Sneaky Sound System. And I still will never return. In fact, let me call out one bartender, an Asian female - goodlooking, but she dyes her hair brown anyway. I have never encountered such a bad bartender. Not only was she unfriendly - she refused to serve me for the rest of the night after I changed a drink order - but she was incompetent. She would only make drinks in batches of their order, so if two parties ordered 2 vodka cranberries each, she would make two, put everything away, collect the money, and repeat, instead of doing it in one go. FIRE HER, SHE IS TERRIBLE!!! A female friend referred to her with a word spelled similarly to aunt, but it starts with 'c.' I did not argue. NEVER AGAIN!
by Noemi Lague on I've only been here on Friday nights for Miss KItty's. Girls and guys wearing 6-inch platform stiletto boots? Check. Clientele in skirts and fishnet tops with pvc bras? Check. Awesome crew of fun friends who collectively decided to go all out and oh-well-what-the-hell dress up? Check. Had a blast, good music and entertaining gogo dancers/shows (hit or miss, better some nights than others). I docked one star because of a sleazy old man who tried touching my ass not once but twice, giving me a heeby-jeeby "come hither" stare both times. After the second attempt I turned to him and said, "Please respect my personal space and don't try that again, neither my boyfriend or I appreciate it. It is extremely rude and I'd like an apology." He stammered something and slunk his pervy self back into the darkness.
