I had to give them a star just for my beautiful waitress Gloria she was so helpful and had great insight about everything here, I'm sure my experience wouldn't of been the same with a different server much props girl!!! So me and my friend came here for dine la to give it a shot. We browsed the menu for way too long before deciding on just getting the 8 course tasting, in order.... 1.Shabu Shabu with foie gras and kobe: very fresh clean flavor broth was poured over the meat at the table to cook it well done. 2.Tempura scallops its pretty much deconstructed with sum tiny scallops spread across a killer sauce almonds and ball of fried tempura this was really good but I could of done without the almonds. 3. Tai snapper, tapioaca crusted in a white soy vinaigrette this was recommended by our server and it was one of the best dishes that night there was a deep fried sushi rice cake thing kinda like a Japanese tater tot lol it was good and crispy and went perfect with the fish very interesting 4. Tataki of American Wagyu Skirt, this was a nice rare cooked piece of meat, you could cut it with your fork delicious though I wish it had more of the sweet surrounding sauce it was little drips of it that teased me. 5. Rib eye, this was my least favorite dish of the night but i still ate it all! lol it came out as a short rib it had a rich Pinot suave I believe and horseradish foam it was surrounded by a salad of arugula and a weird dressing and puree of something? This one kinda flew over my head and couldn't find a clear landing spot... my friend liked it though, I thought it would of been fantastic if it had just a little more sweetness. 6.Filet Mignon, this was delicious perfectly rare served with a cream corn & sauteed morels. 7.California Lamb chop, a skewer of Merguez and lamb loin with chickpeas, a Raita, a cumin kinda hummus sauce, and a tangy red one. this was like a deconstructed shawarma to my palate I loved it. 8. you've heard it before.. Nutella Custard, popcorn ice cream, toast Streusel, a Passion fruit foam, and a Espresso foam there's some additional components im missing too!... this was one of the best deserts Ive had in a restaurant by far.. everything went perfect together and the flavors just kept turning corners in your mouth as you traveled threw this cup of utopia.. ahhhh. I would go back for the dessert alone! that good.. Kudos to Mr. Mina for a lovely experience, service couldn't of been better by the way most of the dishes were chosen by our server and it was to our benefit.... "ill be back" in my Arnold voice!

I like the music and that there's two rooms that allow you to switch off if you're not enjoying the music in one. I had to give 3 stars because of the brunette bartender upstairs on Thursday nights. She will try to hustle you. She used top shelf liquor (Patron) in my tequila sunrise when I didn't even ask for it. And when I confronted her about it she had the audacity to say "if you don't want top shelf then you have to tell me when you order your drink." She is the dumbest bartender I've ever encountered... Beside her the place is great!

In the ever continuing quest to find my bestfriend someone suitable to date, we met some guys here after work one day. It was a nice space to lounge around, talk and drink. The decor was goth, with a large portrait of a topless woman as their centerpiece. The balcony was a nice feature. I can imagine a packed night, would spill onto the sidestreet, especially with the bar smack right when you walk in. And the bathroom is in the same direction as the backdoor exit, so if you ever need an out, there's a quick getaway.
