Previously the failed Central Hollywood. Premiere Supper Club (awful name) should have been a step up from Villa Lounge. After all its the same owner but its quite disappointing. It should have been everything Villa Lounge was and much more but I guess they had other ideas. This is a venue that failed to live up to the pedigree of the owner. The pictures of the venue sucks, the interior design sucks, the concept of 'live theatre' is more annoying than cute. I mean who wants to experience 'live theatre' when you are trying to get your groove on with some chick or dude? Alsoo why let people smoke in such a tiny space? I'm not sure why but Hollywood venues seems to struggle with understanding the differences between a lounge, a supper club and a nightclub. Premiere is a clear example of this. Since I don't go to clubs to stare at the wall or interior I'll say overall its good. The positives - 1.) Chandelier 2.) Location & Size 3.) Atmosphere & Crowd when it gets going... only on very good nights. I can't do 3.5 stars so I'll give it a 4. I've been 3-4 times, not my fav place but I'll go again. New clubs opens in Hollywood all the time. To find the best option for you, just message me on rateclubs or check out my website. eVita Parties provides Hollywood Guest List to Hollywood Clubs & Los Angeles Events.

It gets one star for the huge metal frying pan at the entrance, where a number of * frying in that human-size pan* pictures were taken. I highly recommend that location for a photo-shoot session! The second star is for the swampy dance floor on the lower level of the boat adjacent to the main boat. I applaud the effort of their DJ for playing the most popular radio songs. I highly recommend that location for jumping the week's load of stress off without having to worry about your outfit!

Cancun Knock-Off Several people from back home recommend this place as a great place for Latin music on Ocean Dr and since I stayed a block away I decided to pay it a visit. The first thing I noticed was the chaotic atmosphere the place emits and girls dress in bright glow in the dark costumes that look like they just stepped out of a Brazilian carnival. But like flies, I'm also attracted to bright things and ignored the warning signs. Once inside the band was playing some classic Latin sounds while the "entertainers" dance on top of the bar. The whole set up of the place looked and felt like a old Disney ride. It instantly gave me a flash back of Coco Bongo in Cancun minus the charm. Also, the staff there was the rudest I encountered on that trip. The main reason I go to Latin places is to dance, but the massive crowd made it nearly impossible. Very tourisy. I don't know if I would stop by again.
