I like the prime rib a lot. Have been there a few times over the years and the food was always great.  There is definately an old school (some might say old) feeling to the place. This is definately a place for a civilized dinner and unlike some of the other steakhouses in the city (cough Palm cough) you can hear the people talking to you on your table. We went there last night for a boys night out - a few guys on the town, they had a BYOW Febuary which is great. We had the biggest juicyest oysters I've had in the states for appetizer with the classic cocktail sauce/lemon on ice. I love my oysters and these were close to perfect. As for the meat; I am not usualy a big fan of steak houses - just because I can generally grill a great steak myself and get a great result and so I am almost always slightly dissapointed by steaks when I order them in a restaurant. Unless the meat itself is pehomenal  (like Peter Lugar for example) or something in the preparation takes it to the next level - I am not big on steak house steaks. Prime rib is not much different in that respect. I've the regular steaks there - the NY strip and the Filet and they are very good but not amazing. This time I figured I would give the NY strip which is usualy my favorite cut a try and it confirmed my opinion on steak houeses steaks. The steak was very good - slightly more overcooked than the medium rare I ordered but overall I was not overly impressed. The one thing that keeps me coming to the Prime Rib is -  the prime Rib. The prime rib is juicy meaty with the staple fat ring around and flavor I often dream of. I am not usualy fan of rib steaks (a little too fatty) but you can't beat a great prime rib and they definately perfected . it here. As far as sides -  creamed spinach was a little runny this time which was a dissapointment, they blanched the aspargus to death but the potatoe skins saved the day. Didn't do desserts this time but I remember fundly the creme burlee and the Key Lime. Service was great, atmosphere lovely. What else? service is always great every time I been there. It's a great place for a bigger group - we were 6-7 people with a huge round table and super comfy seats. Great place for a guys night out - just make sure you get the Prime rib!

I was at Elbow room and I was feenin for some hip hop to dance to! So these Pinay girls I met told me I should go here because they have hip hop and they say cute pinay girls go so I went. When I got there it was sooo Dead! and the guy tried to charge me and my girls to get in, and i was like man its 1 am! we can only drink for 40 more mins, and I told the guy let me see inside, so I went to check it out, and it was dead!! so I told the Guy i just want a few drinks and he finally let me and my friends in, and he swore up and down that this place was packed earlier lol.  If it was that popppin and packed why did everyone leave soo early?? Anyways I went in and had a few drinks.  Only plus reason why I gave them a 2 because the girl that was Djing actually played good music and I was getting down for a good 30 mins!

Like most things in NYC - the more money you have the better your experience. Although i am not loaded - luckily for me there is no shortage of friends-of-friends-of-friends who are lighting $100 bills on fire for shits and giggles for me to be able to experience for once in my life the VIP area of this joint. I must say though, that for the lay people this place must really blow - my other friend who didn't want to mooch off free drinks of our gracious host ended up paying $70 including the 20% tip added on by the bartender. PS. In my opinion people shouldn't really a shit about the concept of a "green" club - how about someone give some food to the homeless person you walk over the next time - rather than worry about how this place has LED lights.
