by diamond s. on Well Dreamz Atl has officially changed the name to "Mansion Elan". Now according to reports, $1.2 million went into the renovation of the club.. Now for all those who have been there here's the scoop: -Looks the same on outside -Walk inside and you have plaster casts of statutes -A littke open space to walk around in the front -The stage is GONE!!! -There's a bar in the MIDDLE of the dance floor!!! -There are at least 29,000 different VIP sections!!!(might be a little over lol) -The VIP sections above the dance floor has been combined into one After all that time waiting for these renovations all I have to say is: "Boo!" I mean, I was expecting SO MUCH MORE!!! Now all the waitresses are dressed up as "sexy" servers which is an ok adjustment... But the whole atmosphere of the place how it used to be has changed... I've been a couple times since the renovations and I still haven't stayed pass 3 am... Lucky the rib man is still outside BBQ-ing...
by Andrea Gravelle on I won't ever go back here. Odd Nosdam and Jel and DJ Krush drew me here for one of the worst club experiences in SF I have ever had. NOT my cup of tea. I was having flashbacks of really gnarly raves in the late 90s. Bad vibes....pricey beer....bass was too loud...the crowd was more interested in making out than listening to the beautiful set the A-crew was trying to share. And this poor gal passed out, fell over on the conrete outside and no one even blinked. This place just did not fly with me. Too North Beach, too fast paced...too something. I see little grey clouds over this venue. No stars. Wish the show had been at bottom of the hill...but I guess Krush is too fancy for that.
by Frances Trueluck on I really wished that you could give no stars. I went there for the first and last time last night. It was pretty much like China Town in there. Loud FOBs running around and wannabe gangsters. No thanks!!!
