Review for the club: This was one of my favorite places in the city when I first moved.  Lately, it's been bombarded by the party promotion clubs so they're charging exorbitant fees to enter.  20 bucks for club in the mission?!  It's no NYC or Vegas, people.  If you find yourself in this situation, just pass and go elsewhere. If you do find yourself forking over 20 bucks or entering in free (it can be done, the bouncers aren't that strict but having to flirt with them is annoying) then the music is pretty good.  They often play top 40 with a mix of other tunes.  The roof top is pretty fun, too.  Heat lamps make it a much more comfortable area for chillaxing.

Well.  Ok.  So here is the story: I go to this place with my gf, when we first started dating.   It is the end of the night and we are both WASTED face.  The lights are coming on.  She runs to the bathroom.  I black out.  Apparently upon her return I am having a GRAND time chatting it up with some "gangsta" chick who is wearing "a panty and a blazer" (as my gf put it), or more so, a doo-rag and a blazer.  Whatever she said was just HILARIOUS.  SO FUNNY.  All I know is it led my gf returning from the bathroom, and being very confused, which led to us leaving promptly,  and too this day, comedy about my apparent desire for a thug in a blazer and a panty on her head. All in all: drinks here are overpriced but strong, kinda sloppy.  The dance floor was packed, the music was okay from what I can recall, there were slutty go-go dancers, and it cost 10 bucks to get in.  Maybe more.  This is all a vague recollection.  Which may mean the place is awesome.  Honestly...probably won't be returning any time soon but its a-ok.

DO NOT GO HERE - worst club experience I've ever had in SF, possibly ever. My friend Andrea asked us to meet her here for her birthday. Check this out: The club had a website that said anyone arriving before 10PM got in free. The club was supposed to open at nine, but they got around to opening at 10:15 -- at which time they attempted to charge us $20 even though we'd been outside for about an hour. The manager told us that the website was not run by the club and flatly refused to honor the deal. They agreed to let us in for $10 -- but then turned around and charged all of our other friends the full price. When I asked why they had given us the discount then,  the manager told me that that was the cashier's mistake and that the difference would come out of her pay. Turned out the entire lower floor, the less crappy part of the space, was off-limits for a private party. About an hour later we were unceremoniously thrown off the couch we were on, and my friend, furious, refused to move - the assistant manager had a fit, and tried to get security to remove us -- thankfully they must have realized she was a jerk too, because they ignored her. When we finally had had enough, we COULDN'T LEAVE -- they would not let us out the front door, and the rear door was blocked by a rope and a wall of big bouncers. It was only when we threatened to call the cops AND the fire department and SHOVED past the bouncers that we were able to get out. DO NOT GO HERE.  I doesn't just suck -- it's unsafe. Plus the crowd sucks.
