by Lauren A. on Even though many would say Mickys is best on the weekend, I would have to say Mondays are hands down THE best night to go. There is nothing better than a good drag show! And even though I am a straight girl the men were such sweethearts. I ended up going with a couple of my lesbian friends but even they had blast. I've never seen so many men in heels, weave, and makeup! And I have to say Raven (from RuPaul's Drag Race) is stunning in person. The bartenders are adorable and my drinks were on point...not too strong and not too weak. Unfortunately, gays are not above petty crime and some a**hole stole my cell phone. That's the only reason I took a star off besides the fact there is not nearly enough seating and standing in four inch heels for longer than an hour is not the business! The music was great. We even got a showdown overwho could dance Beyone's "Single Ladies" the best. That alone is worth coming back for more! Overall, I met some new and interesting people, got a great show, great drinks, and great music. Isn't that what a good club and bar is all about?

In some Latin countries a lot of restaurants naturally have a dance floor since we Latin people really love do dance any time of day or night and sure don't need an excuse to boogie. The food was authentic, but too greasy although D-licious. The prices are great too and the waitresses wear small shorts and boots. All the staff was very friendly. The dance floor is rocking with different colored flashing lights and strobe light. They played a great mix of classics in the realm of cumbias, salsas, merengue, and they did play some more modern music like reggaeton, and what not. Since the place is so conducive to groups, I'm thinking of having my next birthday party there.
