by Peter V. on Martuni's is awesome for hosting Vegan Drinks on the last Thursday of every month. The drink specials for Vegan Drinks are pretty spotty though. they are cheep, but I would rather spend a few dollars more to get something that isn't too sweet or gross. The Cosmos are good here. Vegan Drinks always has free popcorn and $1 vegan hotdogs. I am a huge fan. Non-vegan related- In the back room is a piano and they have a piano man play and sing and it is quite nice.

I don't necessarily want to go into all of them here, but you can rest assured that you too will make a few bad decisions after drinking their mexican martinis. Yes, the drinks are that good, so watch you ass! As for the food here, stick with something simple like enchiladas with verde sauce. I like Trudy's so much that when I graduated from college I brought my south alabama relatives here to get blacked out drunk with me. Grandmothers love Trudy's! I even got my 80 year old non drinking southern baptist grandmother to drink a mexican martini...I told her it was a virgin martini.
