by Sung Vanderwal on Thought this would be a nice place to get some sushi. Sat at the bar. Guy at the bar serving us was nice enough. Ordered a "rainbow roll," and found that the salmon which was wrapping the roll was doused in salt. IDK about you, but sushi should NOT have salt on the fish, unless YOU season it yourself! So, was not pleased with that. But, maybe it's a southern thang.
by Lalo H. on So. This place has been under new ownership for a year now. There are 2, count 'em, TWO dismal reviews during that entire new block of new rateclub reviews. One sap, complaining about complimentary water, & the other crying about the drink prices. Advice to them: Go home and drink from your faucet, and, you, cheapo, go to the Brown Jug and order yourself a 2 dollar can o' Pabst....! My point. There are a bunch of great reviews, for this new-ish spot. Try it. Decide for yourself. It is. My favorite neighborhood bar.
by Erwin Kommer on My boyfriend took me here for a Valentine's Day dinner and while I felt special that he would take me to such a nice restaurant, I wasn't that impressed. We had reservations but still had to wait, when we got our table, we were squeeze between 2 other tables of two people. We were so close it felt like one long 6-person table. The best thing we ate was their ceaser salad...it was actually very very good..but their shrimp cocktail and potato sides were nothing to write home about. When the steaks came out, they were just slabs of meat on a plate, I felt a bit carnivorous. it was cooked well but the meal all in all was just ok.
