I had memories of the Majestic being a great place to sober up, but not a great place to get food. But a Scoutmob coupon has helped me to see the light. We went here especially hungover after my company's holiday party and were treated to perfectly greasy diner food for not too much money. The service was fast and food came out in a decent amount of time considering how packed the place was. The only complaint I have is that the coffee was awful. I had to load it up with lots of cream and sugar to make it drinkable.

I haven't seen you in a while, a couple of years in fact, and after seeing you this past Saturday I must ask... What has happened to you? Are you OK? Drugs? Well, maybe too much drugs? Listen... figure it out... I don't know how... just do. You are in a slump. A rut. You need to get your scene together. Pick up the pieces. Your older brother Amsterdam would have a fit if he saw what a mess you have made of yourself in just five years. You need to stop hanging out with your current friends. They are taking you down a terrible path that I believe you will not recover from. I hate to say it but I am ashamed of you. Which tears me up inside. You were so handsome, so confident when you were young. So full of life. So together. So cool. Now? Your just like everyone else at recess. A slacker. With no ambition. No Future. If all of your friends jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge, would you? It pains me to have to talk to you like this but I believe it is for you own good. I love you too much to let this get any further... Now, you have two choices. One. Seek help, get your scene together and get sober. Or two... there is no two. You have 6 months to clean up your act or else... your out. I mean it. Oh, by the way, Happy 5th Birthday... your a young adult now... I expect you to start acting like one. You understand me? Good... now get out of my sight... (Ring... ring... ring)... hello... yes... I see... how vivid... may I ask who is calling... thank you... just a minute please... (cups the receiver, disappointed)... It's your little two-bit whore of a hooligan friend AsiaSF...

the music was good, drinks were awful, crowd was ok. The female bartender ignored me but served all of the non-colored people around me. The drink was terrible. I didn't give her a tip and charged my credit card. She added a tip herself. I looked at my credit card bill to discover her tip. Needless to say, I disputed it as I still have the receipt and the pub needs to prove that I gave a tip based on what I signed. I'd rather go to classier places closer to the nightlife and won't sneak in a tip.
