by Bethel Gavidia on Oh White Windmill, how I miss thee! I'll have to drive down to LA now for some good Korean bakeries b/c where I'm at, it just doesn't cut it! I've been to all three White Windmills', and each one is like the setting of it's own Korean drama. They all have their own unique style and decor. I walk in wanting to be in the next "Kim Sam Soon" love triangle while I eat my yummy pastry and sip on some hot tea. I love Korean bakeries over American and Chinese ones b/c the baked goods are lightly sweetened, ingredients taste fresh, nothing ever tastes stale, even the 1/2 off day old section. I remember some days, they even had samples out so you could munch on a few items like you're perusing Costco on the weekend.
by Dan H. on Great neighborhood place. Gabriel the bartender is straight but extremely nice and friendly, and if you call him Zsa Zsa (he's from Hungary) he'll never forget you. Try the Lady Slipper Pinot Noir.
by Natashia Lanzoni on Open and accepting of all groups; set up more like a bar than a club. Interesting entertainment along with the crowd. I went on a Wednesday night due, I am sure Saturdays would be a blast.
