one of my favorite places in town! this was recommended to me by a dear friend, and maybe that's why i have such fondness for it because i'm always there on a good note! the food is great, i love the gourmet sandwich and soup deal. i get the vegetarian which is egg plant and squash with lettuce on a cheese focaccia bread. YUM. i always get the clam chowder because it's absolutely decadent. if you're super hungry, get it in a bread bowl. their bread is all freshly made in house so it's a must-try. of course save room for a coffee and pastry because this is their selling point! any fans of texpresso here? my dear friend (he's so dear!) told me to try the mocha breve, and it's pretty darn close! the usual fave sweet treat is a cream cheese danish. perfection. plus it's local, the staff is great, and plenty of parking! win win win :)

This Yoshi's is a great addition to the Yoshi's franchise. I still prefer the Yoshi's in Oakland, maybe for sentimental reasons, but this one is great. The restaurant is ok and the stage looks almost identical to the one in Oakland. The San Francisco auditorium doesn't have booths so that was a bummer. But because of this, I do prefer the auditorium in Oakland more. The food is still the same great food (though very expensive) and so I highly recommend this place!

This place is wild. I was visiting a friend and I wanted to go somewhere that was a staple of Atlanta nightlife/culture..... Cheap Pabst cans, infectious '70s music pumping, a cigarette tinge, aka the best seedy stripper atmosphere ever. There's little that you would expect and a whole lot you had no idea you'd see. I don't think you go there for the strippers per say, it's really a full-package history lesson straight outta the years of polyester dress shirts, gold medallions, tight curls, platforms and key parties. Just so happens there's some real gems who dance and take their clothes of too. The best comparison I can think of is if the hotel in the Shining had a strip club. What? Exactly. If you've ever been to the ATL and passed up the opportunity to be cultured properly, I feel sorry for you and that you lack any sense of adventure or an awesome time. **Has anyone ever seen the gal that waves to you with her mudflaps? I never knew thighs were capable of such gestures. She earned her dollar bills in my book! That was 2 years ago...I'm still in awe.
