by Marty Suominen on I would move to Austin so I can come here every day. In fact, I plan to stop by at least once a day for the rest of our trip. First off, it's HUGE! Aisles and aisles of food products, multiple hot food stations, ginormous salad bar selection, soup station with at least 8 soup varieties (not including seafood soups located by the fresh seafood), vegan food bar, juice station, gelato station and Oh so much more! Ample street parking, underground parking and a parking lot. Lots of seating inside and some outside. I even saw that you can buy a bottle of vino and they'll cork it for you to enjoy with your meal there. I am from Seattle area and the Whole Foods I go to in Bellevue is great but does not compare to this one.
by Merlene Tham on Ok. 3-stars. I really really really wanted to like this place, but the first time around (maybe last) didn't really do it for me. Don't get me wrong. The food was great. But the service? Pretty bad. The waitress first passes us over for drinks after taking the orders for half off the table, then brings me the wrong drink. She was slow, and obviously over-worked and we were served by a variety of people none of them were actually her. It took her close to 20 minutes to bring us our check, and then to run our credit cards. We were there over two hours.
by jessica t. on Yuck. Not a fan of this bar. No real atmosphere. The set-up of the bar is strange - and strips the bar of any sort of community feeling and personality. Can get busy during Red Sox games - and they do have some big screens - but I would skip this bar - and look for a more "Bostonian" bar to toast your beer.
