not a bad venue... hosted 350 peeps here so a lil too tight... but i loved the space... wished the long narrow hallway was better utilized though as that area became hard to walk around... also wish there was better sound to loop from one room to the next. otherwise pretty nice ambiance

I've only had dinner here once, but the steak was the best I've ever had. Maybe they got lucky that night, but damn it was perfect! the bar I've been to at least 15 times, and it's pretty kool. i always pick up someone at least half decent here ;)

I love this place! I'll definitely go there again. And if I lived closer, I'd be there every weekend. I went there for the first time this past Saturday night. Immediately when you step in, the atmosphere is great. Non-pretentious, laid back, and welcoming. It also has an antique feeling to the place with its high stools and lush velvet curtains. The martinis are strong and creatively concocted. I really liked the prices of the martinis too: anywhere from 7-10 bucks depending on what was in them. They ain't stingy on the size either (unlike other bars in the city). The pianist that night was Joseph. He was super friendly and very entertaining. If you love to sing, you may have a chance to sing w/ the pianist. Joseph had a list of songs in his music player and a binder full of lyrics for you to follow (just in case you forget some words!). The crowd there goes from 20-somethings to 50-somethings. And considering the location (SOMA) it's also LGBT friendly! The place gets PACKED by 10pm. It's a relatively small place, so get there early if you want a nice seat in the piano room. When I arrived, empty seats and tables were hard to come by, but my party and I hung around long enough to get the seats at the piano table! Remember to bring dollars to tip the pianist!
