I dig this place for the variety (menu) and the rooftop for the summer nights.  I've been here a few times and order something different each time and it just gets better and better. Matt S. is right that it does have a bit of an identity crisis as what it wants to be; a restaurant, bar, or club, but it's so great at all 3 so why not?!  Props to the DJ too!

The following review is courtesy of a traveling San Francisco rateclubser: Had the pleasure of seeing Tiësto here this week. Excellent sound system and visuals, loved the art etched into the walls. On the flip side, could use of a bit more ventilation, and drinks were a bit pricey, but not Miami outrageous. Most importantly, the crowd was stellar - plenty of random high-fives, smiles, etc, all signs of people coming together to experience the music. Except for the few who were smoking (could there be a more disrespectful move?), I'd happily take the trance journey with this group again.

Bring it on elite, I *LIKED* the supperclub! So my fiance and I had been fed all kinds of stories about the pretentiousness of this place, having a group of friends come the week before. We were told the waitstaff was awful and scoffed when they asked her to repeat something. I figured this was the best chance they had to prove these people wrong...bunch of drunk reviewer-freaks up in their place and all. So, no they weren't over the top nice. But they were friendly and our waiter (let's call him shirtless-fur-coat-guy) even joked with us about the one dumbass who falls asleep at the end of the night that no one wakes up until the place is empty. So granted I was there for the elite event, and apparently part of the lucky group who came early and had dinner instead of being locked in the bar area away from our friends for hours. But the fiance and I had a really good time! We didn't mind the wait between courses...you see...in drunk-land that 1 hour wait is a mere 5 minutes where you have just enough time to make out, watch a guitar player, and order another bottle of wine. Food..yeah totally mediocre. The Kobe beef was the highlight. $40 was a fair price to pay, but dessert really should have been better. Entertainment? Well it was rather sparse but good! Drinks? Totally overpriced and weak, at least at the bar, so we stuck to wine after a few mojitos and a pumpkin vodka thing that sounded good at the time. Good wine list though! oh and in case you're wondering...because i know i was trying to identify all the elite-sters... I was the girl whose heel locked in one of the holes on the steps and fell down. I was also the girl who yelled "Bono! You rock! Look at my red RAZR" when the guitar player played "where the streets have no name." I sincerely apologize for both incidents.
