by Granville Schoelman on Wow this place brings back memories! I used to go here often during my college days for drinks and good music. They have a history of great DJ's. I went again this past summer for a friend's birthday celebration and reminisced with all the 90's hip hop and reggae songs that were on rotation. It's extremely small so it gets packed quickly. It can be a mission to get through all the grinding people just to get to the bar!
by Claud Bernosky on I've only had dinner here once, but the steak was the best I've ever had. Maybe they got lucky that night, but damn it was perfect! the bar I've been to at least 15 times, and it's pretty kool. i always pick up someone at least half decent here ;)
by Bonnie P. on I am predisposed to like 24-hour diners, but this one didn't do it for me. The coffee was cold, the grits were bordering on disgusting, and the toast was somehow too buttery (margarine-y?) even for ME, the queen of dairy product consumption. There weren't even any plugs so I could park myself there for awhile with laptop. The service was pretty good, though. I figured out quickly this wasn't a place I could stay, and the check was immediately dropped and I was on my way.
