I finally went to Halo for the first time... It was definitely better than I had expected. My fellow rateclubsers were right.... The decor is trendy, perhaps even a little bit on the border line of trendy and cheesy but still quite nice. The drinks were well made... dirty martinis all the way. Good looking and well dressed people crowded the place but not overly so that you felt like you were trapped in a tuna can but busy enough that you didn't think you were missing some party that you hadn't heard about. The only problem I see is that they play good music.... This becomes difficult, if you are like me, and want to dance. The dance floor is about the size of a peanut and while some people do dance, its not meant to be a dance club. Overall, a good place to chill.

I have gone here twice - for two of my friend's birthday dinners. The atmosphere is very trendy, the music is good - a great place to wow out-of-towners! If you sit at one of the huge tables in the very back, there is a fish pond under your table - and there are jelly fish in the case behind the bar. The food is very good, and expensive (hey, it's New York, at this point I've gotten used to it!). The drinks are equally delicious and unique. For a dinner with 5 girls, and a few drinks, I think it came to $85 per person - but most of us ordered entrees that were upwards of $27 per entree. Note that if you make reservations (recommended), you will NOT be seated until your ENTIRE party shows up. So make sure to tell your never punctual friends your reservation is 30 minutes ahead of what it actually is! haha.

One of my favorite music venues in Atlanta. Plenty of space and the bathrooms are mostly clean. Yeah, I know, it's a short review, but I think this pretty much sums it all up.
