by Christopher S. on Girls if you look good you'll get in. Guys, typical elitist door. If you're with women you're in, if not you're going to wait a bit or all night. Once you're in this place it is rocking. Every girl here was attractive minus two, but I'm pretty sure one of them was a man. Fantastic decor and atmosphere. The DJ was on point. Typical pricing for drinks. It may be called a lounge but it's most def club-like on the inside. Aside from the booths everyone is dancing. A little crowded and hard to manuver but at the same time I had no problem getting a drink from the bar once I made it there. Overall one hell of a good time. If you're a member of hollywood's finest I highly recomend this place. If not you'll have lots of complaints but it's just because this place isn't for you. I'll def be going back.
by Ahmad Rapone on The following is a transcript of the audio from a date I went on at Tao. I will be referred to as me, and my date will be referred to as random (as in random girl) Me: would you like a drink? Random: what Me: WOULD YOU LIKE A DRINK! Random: WHAT! Me: DRINK! Random: YES, TAOHITO! Me: MOJITO? Random: NO TAOHITO! Me: OH! Uncomfortable silence while waiting for drinks and table elapsed time 15 minutes. Me: MAY I ORDER FOR BOTH OF US? Random: WATER WOULD BE GREAT Me: NO ORDER ORDER Random: I'LL HAVE THE Me: NO I SAID MAY ORDER FOR BOTH OF US Random: WHAT Me: Holy Christ Random: WHAT Me: NOTHING Random (to waiter): I'LL HAVE THE DUCK SPRING ROLLS Me (to myself): This sucks This type of exchange continued for the rest of the evening. As a result there were no sweet nothings being whispered and ipso facto very little of anything else. I never saw that girl again, and I hold Tao's decibel level personally responsible. Why so loud Tao? The food was great though, thereby salvaging a three star review from me, but it received a five star review from my ear, nose, and throat doctor.
by Sadie P. on One of my favorite music venues in Atlanta. Plenty of space and the bathrooms are mostly clean. Yeah, I know, it's a short review, but I think this pretty much sums it all up.
