First, and foremost: Dear bartender with the beautiful, large natural hair who worked Manchild Black's "Libation" party on 25 June 2009 . . .  "crush" doesn't begin to describe it . . .  I hope I catch you again in this or the next lifetime . . . OKAY.  Now, on to the review. Excellent spot to dance; their fans/air conditioning keeps dancers cool and refreshed (I'm talking about *serious* dancers, people, not just those of the two-step or crotch-thrust ilk).  The dancefloor is sizable and, depending on the particular event you're their for, the ambiance complements the vibe of the crowd in attendance. As mentioned earlier, drinks are moderately priced.  I'd say more about the bar/bartenders but I think I made my bias clear . . .

this is actually my more preferred ktown club because it's also the nicest. the bently, lambo and ferrari parked right along the entrance should give you some idea of what your going to pay here. tables run around the 5 hunit range and private rooms are close to double. there's really no point just hanging out at the bar because this is a ktown club, which means, dare i say...booking. i'm not sure if that's a korean word or just something lost in translation but basically, if you're a chick sitting around with a bunch of other chicks your gonna be forced to sit at a table or room with a bunch of sorry lookin dudes. (present company included). maybe sorry isn't the right word, more like desperate?  haha,.. i'm too poor to get a table so i do what normal people at clubs do to get digits; i oil the joints and bust out my best robot moves! i agree with the other posts, with all the remodeling looking sharp, what up with the studio apartment sized dance floor? the bathrooms are pretty atrocious for a place that charges a $25 cover and $12 for a kettle and soda at the bar, but not only is this la, its ktown. (no admission charge if you reserve a table or are in a party that reserved) the valet at the end of the night is appallingly slow but i guess they do it that way so the losers with the lambos can show off. (i'm a hater but i would do the exact same thing given the chance). park across the street at the sizzler and pay the shady parking attendant. i seriously think he just put on a fake security jacket and just hangs out there and says its $10 to park. still, for ingenuity alone, he deserves it.

Since Compound closed its doors over MLK weekend (still not sure why, but I think it's to renovate) it seems that Dreamz is a welcome replacement. Like the Velvet Room and Studio 72, the club is kinda in the middle of nowhere. But don't be fooled, it's a great new establishment to get your drink and two step on. When you walk in you enter into a small lounge and bar area with a DJ spinning a good mix of older and newer Hip Hop and R&B. Actually the DJ was just standing there in her giant fur hoodie and sunglasses staring into the crowd, but the music was hot. Once past the lounge area you enter into a HUGE dancefloor area. There are two more bars on each side along with VIP sections strategically placed in the middle of the floor and along the elevated sides. In the middle is a stage where the 'real' DJ keeps the crowd moving. TV's circle around the area and the the room just has a really nice vibe. The drinks were a decent price and even shots of Patron were under $10. As with any club in the ATL a celeb could be there and in fact, Ne-Yo made a surprise appearance and performed a few of his hits. I'll definitely be back next time I want to go clubbing.
