by AJ K. on Hmmm varying reviews, I guess it depends which night you go. I came on a Wednesday to check out a house dj. There was a little mix up at the door but the staff handled it very professionally (5 stars to them). The guest dj was definitely levels above the resident ones (5 stars to him too). As for the crowd, it's house music :o) everyone was really cool (another 5 stars, yay). As the story usually goes, the bartenders effectively reminded me that I am in LA. I felt like I was dealing with a couple of amateurs. So I paid $12 for a vodka martini, that's cool. But he only filled the glass half way. No "I'm sorry" or "let me fix that". Are you kidding me?? You're lucky my friend was holding me back. Whack~ (minus 2 stars).
by Joaquin Uyehara on After walking for hours and just stumbling from neighborhood to neighborhood it was surprising to see Earth kind of pop out of no where. The west side use to be so blah but it's nice to see things making it livable. I liked the vastness of the menu and I'd go with the earlier thing about being modern Indian. We sampled a bunch of different things and I'm a wimp about spice but it wasn't bad and if I can tolerate it anyone can believe me.
by Ivory B. on This is a great good social dining place if you have a few friends tagging along. Try the 5 course Sampler it about $30. It seems like a never ending treat of food and it even includes desserts. Also after 12am you are allowed in the club for free. So why pay $20 to get in when you can pay $30 and get dinner and club access.
