First, and foremost: Dear bartender with the beautiful, large natural hair who worked Manchild Black's "Libation" party on 25 June 2009 . . . "crush" doesn't begin to describe it . . . I hope I catch you again in this or the next lifetime . . . OKAY. Now, on to the review. Excellent spot to dance; their fans/air conditioning keeps dancers cool and refreshed (I'm talking about *serious* dancers, people, not just those of the two-step or crotch-thrust ilk). The dancefloor is sizable and, depending on the particular event you're their for, the ambiance complements the vibe of the crowd in attendance. As mentioned earlier, drinks are moderately priced. I'd say more about the bar/bartenders but I think I made my bias clear . . .

This review is only for the TERRACE! Embarrassing how I have never been here....then again I have not been to a lot of places... If you go: Go on a Monday evening Go if it is warm outside, but if it is cold, sit by one of the mighty heaters. Go there on a date, it is quite beautiful to see the sunset with the fog, etc. Go there with a lot of cash or have just one drink. At $12 for a pomegranate mojito it (for me) is a bit steep. Have the pomegranate mojito, it was pretty tasty! If not on a date, go with a great friend, you'll remember why you live in the Bay Area. Instead of having dinner there, which I imagine it is way out of my budget, go to La Taqueria just a few doors down and have a super taco, at $3.50 you get full and ready for the drinking at Medjool... Oh, and we had a very nice happy server! Have fun!

I don't remember much about the sushi at Pod. It was good, but not amazing. I do remember the chairs, the bathroom doors, and the lighting. I guess that's the whole point. I would like to go back again and try the conveyor belt. There needs to be more conveyor belt sushi in Philly.
