A gaggle of drunk girls making out on top one of the tables, closely ogled by a group of well-dressed Persian men. Douchie frat boys hogging space by the bar, with one of them so drunk he keeps stumbling in to me. However, he is nice enough to follow it up with an "Ughh....shariie bhrooo". Most places wouldn't be able to get away with this, but Vessel amazingly does. We went on a Thursday back in April, and there was no cover, an absolutely amazing sound system pumping out good beats, cool ambiance, strong drinks, and when the live DJ came on, you just wanted to dance all night. Vessel is a great night club, and I didn't even mention the genius bathrooms. It's so good, you can tolerate the people it attracts as part of the overall experience. Tip: Sammy S makes a great call on the chairs. Arrive before 10 to stake yours out - it's worth it.
by Latoria Wais on LOVE THIS PLACE on a Wednesday night! Now granted, I went in on a Wednesday night, so I'm sure the weekend scene is a little different. And judging from the reviews I'm reading, it probably is VERY different on the weekend. But on the weekday, the music was slammin, the people were cool, and the dance floor was open. I do have to say that drinks were a bit expensive and the slide was closed. Also, a few hoochie-looking trannies walked in; I'm sure that's pretty common in the area. Just a heads up for you guys who think the women there are hot ;)
by lauren v. on I am sitting here as I write this ,killing massive amounts of time before my next class. This is my first time here,I pass by it all the time finally decided to come in. Glad I did! Decor is super nice. Nooks and fireplace and couches. Pretty good menu with breakfast and lunch fare. I had a cobb that had such a good dressing and real bacon and non disgusting chicken pieces. The staff is friendly and very cute which is always a plus. I now know where to waste my time between classes on tuesdays!
