I've been to Fado 3 times, all of which have been in the last week and a half. It's not because I just love it so much -- though I do now -- but World Cup festivities have made Fado a must-go venue. I really have to commend the servers for their stellar service, even during the earliest 7:30am games. I'm sure they hated being there that early, serving crazy soccer fanatics who were getting drunker by the minute, but they gave us only the best service. Food is pretty standard; I like RiRa's food much better than Fado's, but all in all a great experience. Definitely check out Fado during the World Cup while you can! Good times. :)

Fridays are the place to be here! Last couple times I went here we hit capacity at 11:30pm. I promote with Blended Events so I might be a little bias. Honestly, with Opera and Crimson both open the capacity reaches about 1,000. Decent sized club, but one of the nicer ones I've been to. The inside is nicer than Vanguard, Cabana, and Highlands (which are the other Friday Night "Asian Clubs"). The outdoor patio is just a patio with a tent over it, which makes it feel like you're indoors (Vanguard's outdoor patio is bigger, Cabana's outdoor patio is bigger + nicer). Drinks are your typical Hollywood prices, around $12 for mixed premium drinks, around $6 for beer. There are two small dance floors and around 3 bars. Friendly staff + fast service, nice decor, and good music make this a dope spot to hit up on Fridays. Hit me up if you wanna come here!

Coming from San Francisco, Brunch is a sacred institution. Georgia's barbaric law that you cannot purchase alcohol on a Sunday nor order it before 12:30 defiles my sacred institution. Therefore, I have found Brunch to be lacking in Georgia. Although you need to wait until 12:30 to order (or make your own) Bloody Mary at Front Page News, it is worth it. This morning I had one of the best spicy, delicious, and sinful Bloody Mary's with brunch. Brunch was good, too. Nothing special, nothing horrible. It's a nice space (first time sitting indoors) and so much better than the next door Vickery's, I have no idea why people go there. It was the straightest crowd for being so close to midtown, but brunch was inexpensive enough, I didn't mind slumming.
