Had some friends in from out of town this past Saturday and had heard good things about Fluid so decided to give it a try. While it looked sketchy at first, I was pleasantly surprised by how fun it turned out being. The DJ played a mix of old school and newer music which was awesome as we were able to reminisce while enjoying great music. The crowd was mixed and extremely friendly, drama-free, everyone was there to have fun and dance! Drinks weren't too pricey either - which was a plus! Only thing that made this a four out of five is that it was extremely hot in the club, which made it more uncomfortable as it got busier throughout the night. With that aside it was a great experience and I will definitely be going back!

This might be a biased review because I DON'T DANCE! I know, so why that hell did I go? First of all, my friend could get us in for free and we didn't have to wait in line. I'm sorry, yes, we were those bastards that bypassed you in line. Secondly, I was told there was a sitting area. I don't mind going to clubs as long as I can sit somewhere. Anyway, we get there and you can barely walk anywhere! We felt like sardines. =( All the sitting areas were closed off because they were reserved for bottle service. The music was way too loud, and for some god damn fu*cking reason they did that thing were all of the sudden they would turn those bright, ass lights on. It was annoying! Dark, wait no, JUST KIDDING... LIGHTS! Over and over again....ugh! I was really annoyed so I left and my friend walked me out of the club. That was another adventure! I was told I couldn't go out of the same way I came in. The guy pointed to the back of the club and said we needed to get out that way.... really?! I asked another guy that worked there and he was a total, fucking douche bag. He told me I could get out through the front and it shouldn't be a problem. I was getting really pissed off and ready to punch one of them. Anyway, we finally made our way through the sea of drunken people and finally there was a light at the end of the tunnel! I opened the door and smelled air! Yes, I was so excited to breathe in the smog of, oh, so clean Hollywood! =) Eh, my friends like it.... I don't. Apparently there's a VIP area upstairs, which is supposed to be better. They are open until 4:00 a.m. Hello to douchie and pretentious people, assholes and trannys.

I've ALWAYS wanted to come to Mango, but plans always fell through! Well I finally got to go with some wonderful company and I must say I had an absolutely awesome time there! If you're like me, a lesbian who wants to have a fun time and not impressed with The Lex, then go here! It is lively, friendly and so many different kinds of women. The best part, you ask? They want to have a fun time! The music here was all over the place, which I also appreciated. I would totally come here again, and I'm seriously hoping for another opportunity!
