by Jetta Gibson on What a mistake! Out for a friends birthday, went to the wrong club. And I mean wrong in all the wrong ways. Scary looking crowd (should have been our first clue), metal wand run over everybody(what does that tell you!), asked girl working bar if she knew where the Cat Club was(right next door) and she said she had no idea(not so bright). In less than a minute before realizing our mistake, could not get out the door because security said it would be 10 minutes before he could let us out???? as he let (i counted) 9 more people in???? Isn't this ass backwards???? Finally back outside where we could breathe and there is one of their classy patrons squatting on the ground urinating on the sidewalk. Go forewarned!
by Emma C. on No cover, lovely decor, relaxed atmosphere, mixed crowd! It's great! The downstairs is perfect if you want to sit down and chat with friends at a table in the low-key, romantically light atmosphere. Yes, there are tables for you to sit at, and no, you don't have to pay for them! Head upstairs if you want to get your moves on and start a dance party. It's perfect for a group if not everyone wants to dance all night long, but The Park is definitely more of a lounge kind of place. Come here if you are sick of the pretentious scene in the Meatpacking and want to just relax after clubbing. The crowd is mixed but not creepy and there's a Halal food cart right outside the front doors if you're craving for a food nosh after the alcohol.
by Randi Moret on The music sucks and so is the downstairs dance area. It was hot and stuffy. This place has got some serious overcrowding issue. My girls and I spent a total of 30 minutes here - 10 minutes to get in, 5 minutes to check our coat, 10 minutes to *attempt* to dance in the sauna-like temperature, and 5 minutes to go to the ladies room, check our make up, and move on someplace else.
