by Tyler J. on Went to Fresh for the first time since moving to SF 4 months ago and really enjoyed the venue. It's a cool space with a open overlooking balcony upstairs. Not sure what the crowd is like here when it's not packed full of half naked sweaty men but I had a great time.
by Dana B. on First nightclub experience I've ever had, so I really didn't have any expectations coming in. A friend of mine invited me to go to Dracula's Ball with him, so we went, and I have to say we were both somewhat confused by what the event entailed--it ended up being a combination between a rave and a concert; the majority of the night they played this somewhat annoying techno rave music, and when that wasn't going on, Black Tape for a Blue Girl and Iscintilla performed. The two bands were actually pretty good, but overall the event was too crowded. I've been told, however, that on Wednesday nights for Nocturne, it's much different, so I figure I'll have to come back for that.
by Lois Cutright on BOMB crab legs and apetizers! Very quaint spot, with nice music and atmosphere. If your looking for a decent crowd, not to big, with good music, Kat's is a cool spot.... You can still hear yourself talk, and be social at the same time!
