by Ashley Marie L. on So tempted to just give this place one star... Not sure if it deserves 2... Okay, more like, 1.5. Went here this past Saturday night. Parking was actually pretty easy, found a spot in an alley only a block away. The area isn't sketchy, didn't really see any bums or whatnot, and even if it was, there were cops everywhere! Got there a little before 11, guestlist, no cover. One of the security at the door was being a hater about my boyfriend's shoes. Plain white dress up shoes, not sneakers, so wasn't sure what the problem was there (saw a guy in forces & an adidas track jacket inside?). Another security guy said it was cool & let my boyfriend in (thanks sir). Loved the music!!! Best thing about the place was non stop great music. Drinks were SO EXPENSIVE! $21, not including tip, for an amf & grey goose/red bull? Yikes! Admittedly, they were strong & the 2 asian girl bartenders were nice. The inside of the place looks like crap. Like a dark, dingy basement on ground level. Fans were going which was nice cause after dancing for awhile, it got hot! It looked bigger online but the bar area and then the main dancing area aren't much bigger than a hospital hallway. Definitely screaming for a remodel.
by Julie H. on Portions are humongous! Initially I was a little shocked by the somewhat steep prices, but 5 of us ordered a medium pizza and a large pasta, and we were more than full (with plenty of leftovers) for about $13 each. I really enjoyed my time here, but the only thing that is keeping me from giving them 4 stars is the price. As good as our dish was, at the end of the day it was still pasta with vodka sauce and some pork...not worth $30. Service was friendly and the ambiance was fun. I would suggest going in a big group and eating family-style!
by Caryl Mccallon on If you're downtown and looking for Pizza, Rosa's is definitely good, but Slice is _much_ better. The food is brought to you vs. standing in line, and you've got more toppings and menu options. If you're headed there after work, it's great place for a beer or two and some munchies to unwind with.
