I'm so surprised this place has so many ones.  After browsing through some of those ones, I noticed that those reviewers didn't even get INTO the club.  With that being said, this place is ridiculously difficult to get into.  Be advised:  Yes, the line is crazy long.  Yes, the place is pretentious.  Yes, the doormen, hostesses, bartenders are kind of mean (put yourself in their shoes).  If you can't deal with any of these things, don't go.  Even being on a guestlist through a connection, we waited about 30 minutes to get in.  Although I didn't pay cover, I know it's $20, which isn't bad, in my opinion.  They could charge at least $30 and people would still pay.  There was a line around the block by 11pm and it didn't seem like they were letting anybody in.  Even if you're a group of all girls, it's still hard to get in.  So don't be surprised.  After dealing with the cluster-f*ck of getting in, we were finally zooming up to the rooftop in a mirrored elevator.  Kinda funny, the original Drai's in LV is in the basement while the one in LA is on a rooftop. Drai's is absolutely beautiful.  It is similarly decorated like the one in Vegas with very dark lighting, retro lamps, mirrored columns all round and sultry, red velvet.  Lots of booths throughout the entire place.  They know where the money is and that is bottle service so every spare spot has tables.  The dancefloor is really small and located in the middle of the main room inside and it's very crowded.  Be tipsy, at least, so you're not mad every time someone bumps into you.  On the left there is a small patio with a great view of Hollywood Boulevard.  To the right, is the pool surrounded by day beds, and cabanas.  The music was great.  Props to the DJ.  I'm getting so tired of the House music that's being played everywhere lately but Drai's played mostly hip hop with just a little House mixed in and minimal Lady Gaga-Beyonce-Top 40.  Loving this DJ.  Music is very similar to the type played in the VIP room of the LV location.  Later in the night, he even played Tupac and some old school Dre.  The club is open until 4am but they start taking drinks (not asking, taking...out of your hand) close to 2am.  It starts to clear out about 3. Also, be advised that drinks are pretty pricey.  A glass of champagne and a Redbull Vodka was $33.  Guy bartender at bar ouside was a little mean.  He was really busy getting drinks for the cocktail servers and basically told the people in line that they'd have to wait awhile.  Went to the bar inside, and the female bartender was much more friendly.  Still took awhile but it is, what it is. I really like the crowd here.  It seemed like mid-20s up to 40 year olds, professional types.  Mostly attractive people, all ethnicities.  Lots of stylish people.  Not too many hoodrats, trying-to-hard, immature-just-turned-21, ghetto, douche-bag-looking people in here.  There were some but it was minimal.  That's probably why the line is long outside.  They don't want ghetto people in here.  One of the reasons I love this place so much is because of the "exclusivity" because let's face it, I'm getting too old to be partying with rejects.  Living "grown and sexy" now. Drai's in Las Vegas is my all time favorite club and will always have a special place in my heart but I am in love with Drai's Hollywood.  I can't wait to do some more celebrating here.  I also want to check out the daytime pool partying and fun in the sun.

Caribbean Cafe is a nice place to go, but the owner needs to bring more high class people to play live music and like salsa, merengue,or bachata all he brings is mexican music on saturday night. He also needs to install some tv around the place too. Yea and the drinks need to be cheaper they are too high.Forgot and to the dj to play different and new music.

I hate this place. If you want a really shitty time, come here, and bring the people you hate along with you so that you can torture them with a shitty time too. It was some of our first time here, and we came here for dinner and the club. Apparently there's 3 levels. 2nd level is restaurant. 1st and 3rd is the club. The 1st floor was closed that night. The decor and really nice and big but other than that, its just looks, no substance what so ever. The food is disgusting and extremely overpriced for the quality and quanity. Drinks are expensive, $12 for an apple martini.  Which is average for Hollywood.  The food here are Asian fusion, sort of like Geisha house.  There's fried noodles, sushi and etc..Bottom line, I could have just ordered fried noodles from a fast food joint and grab a handful of noodles and plate it in a fancy plate and charge $16-19 per plate. Sushi was just okay, nothing spectacular either. The only good this about this establishment is the service. The servers here really take care of you but it doesnt make up for the other crap you have to deal with. **Here's the other crap we had to deal with. So we were here for dinner and the club. If you eat here, you can get in the club for free, otherwise there is a $20 charge. A few of us got to the restaurant first and then a few more came afterwards. There was about 15 of us. Afraid that our other friends who come after 10pm would have a problem getting in, our server assured us that our party would be okay to get into the club as long as each person orders $20 of food, so we complied, since cover is $20 anyways, so why not get some food out of it.  So we all spent a total of about $500 on this wretched place. We thought we covered our bases when after dinner, we were told that only 5 of us were able to get into the club for free! WTF?!!!  We spoke to the manager (who is a complete bitch) and she said that they're at maximum capacity - LIAR! there were people standing in line outside and they were still letting people in.  The rest of our party has to GO BACK OUTSIDE, STAND IN LINE AND PAY $20!! WE WERE PISSED!!! they put us through paying for thier crappy food and then not let us in? No "I'm sorry" from the manager.. At this point we didn't even care if we got in the club, it was a matter of principle. How the fuck are you gonna NOT acknowledge you guys fucked up? and not even work something out with your customers? What the fuck kind of service is this anyways? - eh..They lie and treat their customers like shit.....I'm done with writing about this place...
