by Mitzi a. on I went to Klutch with my girlfriends on a Saturday night. What a mistake! A native New Yorker; I have had my share of pretentious doormen and scantily clad, college dropout, cocktail waitresses. But never did I have to deal with such disregard for clientele. I must say that we met an Owner and he was kind and helpful. But the cocktail waitresses in VIP are not only rude, but they are not intelligent. They forget that their job is to wait on you. Rather, they believe it is an honor to have them serve you! My advice, don't waste your money or time, the place overly done, the music is bad, and the liquor is low grade. Cross the street and go to Big Pink, at least the staff is better looking and the drinks are cheaper!
by Jennifer C. on Last weekend, there was a gaming convention. O yes, gaming...lots of stereotypical guys with glasses and curly hair. HAHA. my friends got approached by one of the workers and invited us to the after party here for VIP ACCESS! WOOT! we got open bar and free food (which included mini burgers, pizza, crackers and cheese, and potatoes). this place is nice, very open spaced with a stage for bands and singers. my friend told me lady gaga performed here this month. but this night, there was some country band...not bad. there are blue lights which i guess, makes it look kind of cool. the VIP floor upstairs is a bit small but has comfortable couches and chairs as well as little rooms to the side with curtains for privacy. the drinks ( i had a lemon drop, kamikaze and a madori sour) were not bad. they were not stingy with the alcohol, except the bartender we went to had no expression in his face and looked like he was about to punch me in the face.
