by Darron Maxedon on Let's be honest here... Bob's is a hole in the wall that from the outside that offers nothing that really stands out, but that's probably the charm of the place. It's small, always crowded, but the music is great, drinks are strong and the people are always down to get sweaty and make the floor shake. Getting a drink is a bit difficult, but Thursdays are usually my favorite night to go since that weekend rush (rush being over 100 people) isn't a factor.
by Caroline M. on Mmmm, disjointedness. Terrific music, really fantastic music, but you knew that already; and the dance floor sound setup is unbeatable. The crowd? Not B&T, but still a bit lowbrow in its own way, the sort of folks who might go up to the British-import DJ and request that hot new house mix of "SexyBack." Was here to see a friend's friend DJ on a Friday night, so admission was comped. If I'd had to pay a cover, it would've been a less pleasant experience. Good time, but nothing truly incredible. Serious male-female ratio imbalance, too; major brodeo, as they say.
