by Lisa T. on Hands down the best club Ive been to in LA. There is nothing snobby or rude about the staff or bouncers here. You also never have to deal with promoters since you can get on the list or reserve a table through their website which is quick and efficient. Shout out to Mark Alex from the staff there who was SUPER helpful to me to plan my night. The venue itself is BEAUTIFUL. Unlike the other clubs in LA this place has some floor space in addition to having a beautiful patio area. Every other club ive ever been to makes my claustrophobia act up but not this place. YOU CAN ACTUALLY DANCE/WALK HERE! complete shocker. Theres two floors: a lower level with a huge dance floor and bar, and an upper level for tables. I reserved a table for my 22nd birthday which was last saturday, on the 22nd (not an accident lol) and was seated on the second level. I do not have ANY complaints about the service. Our server Cher (who was really awesome even when I kept having her run up and down cause i had credit card problems since my ATM card was tripping) was really attentive and sweet and kept the free tacos coming all night! The bus boys made sure to keep refilling our mixers and kept the table clean. Something needs to be said about the DJ. He is freaking amazing! He doesnt just play one genre of music. He plays an eclectic mix of top 40 and dance and old school hip hop. He never plays the same track for too long so you never get bored. He kept me and my friends dancing all night. Honestly I dont even know why i bother going to other clubs. This place is it.

Best part about this place was the two Rateclubers above and the DJ. His music was cool (not the greatest) but his DJ skills were tight. He also was more energetic than most of the crowd. Crowd was majority White and Asian and stuck in their small groups. I just kicked it with Pookie W and AKA G or watched the DJ do his thing... The place is free so go stick your head in and see if its your thing...wasn't really mine.
by Nikki M. on Once a month for Club Gossip to laugh, dance and make fun of everyone else around us. I mean, what else are old school goths who grew up suppose to do? The funniest thing is the same two older trannies that used to frequent the clubs I went to over a decade ago are still around, coming to this event and New Wave City as well.
